1. Company Introduction
BORACS is a racking systems manufacturer 100% owned by Singaporean. Our China factory was established in 2004 in Shanghai and moved to Nanjing in 2009. BORACS specialises in international export market. Over the years, we have installations in over 30 countries, some of them shipped to end customers' warehouse, mostly are installed by our resellers around the world.

2. Structural Feature
Medium & Heavy Load Cantilever
Medium and heavy load cantilever systems are commonly used in warehouses with height in excess of over 6.0m. Total capacity can be designed up to 8000kg per column. Arm length normally ranges from 900mm to 1200mm with load rating within 1000kg.
Column and Base
Column and base are produced from hot dip pre-galvanised coil, hence, suitable for both indoor and outdoor usage. Base can be Single-sided for single-side storage, or Double-sided for double side storage. Several profile sizes are available to cater for varied load rating requirements.

Bracing
Bracing structure is the essential part of the system which provides the necessary stability to the cantilever racks.
It consists of:
- Horizontal bracing
- X-bracing
Both are produced from hot dip pre galvanised L-angle suitable for indoor and outdoor usage.
Arm
Sizes:
- HS100*50 (Hallow Section)
- 100*90 (Tapered Profile)
- 140*90 (Tapered Profile)
- 160*90 (Tapered Profile)
Each cantilever arm is complete with a welded bracket, arm nose, clevis pin and R-clip, and optional arm stopper.
Surface Finish:
- Powder coated RAL 2004 for indoor use.
- Hot-Dip Galvanised for outdoor use (limited to selected arm size and thickness)
Safety Load Distribution
Uniformly distributed load on cantilever racks and arms is of paramount important to operational safety. The diagram below illustrates the concept of safety load distribution. Take note of the overhanging dimensions in each example.
Impact Safety Design
The rounded nose design at the tip of the arm together with the single-round-pin bracket, provide the arm with a free uplift motion for accidental uplift by forklift. This safety feature greatly reduces possible damages to the cantilever structure in daily operation. Only medium and heavy load cantilever models provide this safety feature.
